Jane Seeman's Tacit Support of Son's Hate Speech

Jane Seeman Should Consider Her Options
Jane Seeman, by visiting, reading and writing to her son's now infamous hate blog, has condoned it all. The citizens of Vienna can only be sad that the Mayor of Vienna has participated in and refused to distance herself from such hate-filled diatribes. Our recent posts, with your comments, here and here say it all. It's one thing to have a child offering wild hate speech, it's quite another thing for the Mayor of Vienna to add her comments to her son's blog rants without condeming him. Or does none of this moral and ethical stuff matter any more? Who cares Seeman just won the election big? Is that the attitude?

I never could bring myself to trust Jane Seeman... now I understand why. Trust your instincts... that's fair advice for everyone.

I must point out in defense of Jane exactly what her response was to Tom's comment about Hispanic persons tending to jaywalk more than oither groups. If you go to the Redhunter website and look in the January archives, and look for Jane's comment, she actually says that "Jaywalking is rampant, but that I have not noticed one particular group tho". I would certainly say that in that instance she is offering a different perspective from Tom's and that is posting that she is NOT in agreement with his earlier statement.

Tom Seeman's site is a racist web site. The Mayor posts there. She has not condemned the site or her son. Enough parsing! Don't forget, the Mayor was asked why she posts there and gave this awful answer.

I visit, read and write to your site, but I do not agree with All that this site says. In fact, there are some things on this site that I strongly disagree with. If I only visited, read or wrote to sites that I was in 100% agreement with, then I would pretty much be only writing to myself. No, that can't work because I am not always in agreement with myself, either...Gosh darn it! There's that Fence Defense again!
