Jane Seeman Abuses Property Rights

Last night the Vienna Town Council voted against the removal of a property from the Historic District. In ruling against the property many Council members said nothing. However, some Council members used the vote as a platform to reveal an anti-property rights agenda. Jane Seeman in particular, apparently now high on Election results, labeled the owners of the property as 'speculators' who knew what the rules were before buying the property. Seeman stated that since the rules were known in advance, the owners had no right to complain about the Historic District or seek removal. Only in the mind of a very weak person could this logic pass. One question for Mrs. Seeman: What are the rules for the Windover Heights Historic District? Exactly, you have no answer... It is high time that Jane Seeman took the Maud Robinson earpiece out and stood for something...anything.

I was present at the meeting last night. What startled me was Maud arguing that the spending of $5 million of our tax dollars for the Town Green was going to help Vienna's business sector. How will that happen? I am a business owner and my impression is that that many business owners in Vienna see Maud as she really is - a bitter lady whose power came solely on the coat-tails of her late husband. If she really knew what most of the Town staff think of her AND she was NOT being blindly elected by her "Vienna 1000", she might be startled. She's a real piece of cake and a legend only in her own mind.

I was present at the meeting last night. What I question is how can the coucil rule on a matter that is in litigation? Or is the 210 LAWYERS ROAD address not part of the suit? Where can I get specific information regarding the lawsuit? When is the hearing?

That property is not in litigation. FYI, the Council is in litigation of their own doing. More info. on suit? What do you mean?

HV: It might take five or more years to give this Town a political corruption enema. We are in it for the long haul and will be at the polls next year!
