New Movie About Vienna Underway

We were recently contacted by a group of UVA and VCU film students. Self-described as "disaffected 20 year-old residents making a feature length film about the Town they grew up in." Any help or insight they need, they are going to get it from us. Michael Moore, Super Size Me, etc. the world has seen what can be done on a limited budget.

More to come on their project soon.

Micheal Moore move over...get ready to have your bubble burst Maud! Just think, because of your damned stubborn attitude, and blind ambition, you are about to be revealed in a way everyone will understand.

This film could be exciting if it can reveal the truth about some members of town council and town staff. I know this site likes to blame much on Jane and Maud and I don't disagree that these two have and will cause our small town more problems than they have. If this film could really do deep research and review secrets the town manager has managed to keep hidden for all these years, then this film might be the top seller film for the year. The citizens of Vienna might find out the truth some day. There are many hidden skeltons in the closet and maybe even some buried through out locations in the town.

Our town doesn't seem to care about environmental concerns. They create many problems especially public works. Why the town hasn't fired the Director of Public Works years ago is beyond me? To think the town pays this man a big salary and the director just doesn't care. He hates to have citizens even make suggestions and will work harder to do the opposite.

The citizens are suppose to be on the top of the chain, then town council, then the town manager and then the town staff. It doesn't work this way. The town manager is first, then town council, the town staff and maybe the citizens.

Frustrated Citizen for years

We all know there is a problem, and it's not likely anything can be done short of a tunnel under Vienna to help Vienna lessen its traffic congestion. Also, restricting cut-through traffic from the neighborhood streets will help the tax-paying residents in Vienna, if only the cantankerous residents who fight against such measures would stop being such damned fools. Then at least our children could walk to school safely. Fortunately, most of these coots are failing to show up at the meetings because they are now dead. Most importantly, Northern Virginia planners need to be aggressive in building a metro-rail that goes from DC, all three airports, Tysons, Warrenton, Haymarket, Leesburg and even perhaps out to Winchester, I would think this would be the single most important action to lessen the traffic congestion in and around Vienna. However, from what I have heard through the grape-vine, is that two of our elected council persons have been a royal pain in the ass when trying to deal with planning officials in Fairfax County. So it's unlikely they will try to do anything that will help Vienna locally. Bottom line: We need metro expansion. We need to restrict and enforce drivers from cutting through our back streets. We need better and more effective council persons in Vienna, because, let's face it: Seeman, Maud, Cole, And Lovelace are a disgrace and don't give a damn about these issues, else they would have solved them YEARS ago.

IT'S SHOWTIME! The camera is an awesome instument to reveal corruption.

Born and raised here - same old, same old.

Actually, Vienna used to be more than a little rough around the edges. Back in the day (late 70s), all the teens hungout on their cars in the Drug Fair parking lot (re: Jammin Java) and when things got rowdy, they took it around back and had fist fights.

Think Maud remembers that good one?! Sigh ...
