Solatube Space Pods Approved in Historic District

Beam me up, Maud!

Tonight the Windover Heights Board of Review approved the addition of 16 "Solatube" skylight pods to the roof of the historic district's Japanese tea house. You can watch the presentation here of the historically accurate Solatubes in action. These will be especially useful homing beacons when E.T. returns to the historic district in 2057.

In all seriousness, no one can actually prove one way or the other whether houses in Vienna were covered in dozens of 'Solatubes' 100 years ago or not. Who knows. These pod tubes are, however, as historically accurate as anything else approved, right Mulder?

There are literally tears pouring down my face I am laughing so hard.

Tap your heels together three times and say, "The Vienna historic district is legitimate", "The Vienna historic district is legitimate", "The Vienna historic district is legitimate"..."Solatubes for everyone", "Solatubes for everyone", "Solatubes for everyone"...

Wow! Solatube delcares on it's website that their product is "The Miracle Skylight"!!! Pretty soon we will be living in a religous district on another planet!

Well, I know I should be quiet about this, but these tubes are a very necessary part of Scientology and we of course don't want to alarm anyone, but we are working on a way to use these tubes to bring our evil spirits back to earth without being noticed. Heck, we are even working on a way to bring dead people back to earth through these tubes...such as like real historic people. We are working on Thomas Jefferson first, because he has shown an interest in the afterlife. As we all know he recently came by to tell the owner of a house in the district that he planted trees in their yard so they could get a higher sale price. Next to arrive once the tubes are in? Maybe some past Vienna residents to come back and tell us about their social standing in the afterlife?
