Good idea!

WE WON!

I am so very pleased tonight to annouce that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has voted in their Executive Session to allow those homes premitted prior to July 1, which used the previously acceptted Methodology of Measurement to move forward and receive their Residential Use Permits.

We have never in our lives fought so hard. Nor have we ever felt so just.

Thank you for supporting this fight. It was not easy, and yes, it was expensive on many fronts.

But right has prevailed. We will move our family forward and have them sleeping in their new beds by this weekend.

What a "strange, strange trip this has been"

THNAK YOU, Fellow Travelers!

And on the flip side, we have the Town of Vienna and their near moronic court room pursuit of a historic district that they admit is broken and flawed.

Gee, now I can go home and count all the money we made on these illegal monstrousities and perhaps purchase more "teardowns" from tax weary retirees! Thanx "Dee Bee" :-)

Crap, I love taxes, give me more! I want to create more town greens with free WIFI and "other amenities" on prime TOV revenue producing commercial property!

Hey, I got an idea! How about using the town green as a retirement home for all the TOV tax weary blue-hairs? A underground community could be created, much like those of prairie dogs! They could grow their own nuts and berries on the property and sell them at the farmers market to offset the costs of the WIFI access.

Just an idea... See, I’m always trying to think of ways to make TOV a better place to live.

Stop Recycling and Save!
Town Council candidates like to campaign for lower water rates. They say the Town could get much cheaper water from Fairfax County but then they bat their eyes and suggest their peers don't want to bother making the change. And then nothing happens after they are elected. Why?

I suggest we stage a little protest. Since water is so expensive, let's stop wasting it. Stop recycling. Stop wasting water rinsing out cans and bottles. Just throw that stuff away and let the Town pay to haul it all to the land fill. This will save you water, lower your water and sewer bill, and simplify your kitchen routine. You'll only have to haul trash to the curb one day a week. Stop recyling, save water, save time and trouble, and lower your water bill... until the Town Council acts to consider Fairfax County water.
