Maud Robinson Slams Memorial to Honor Biker Killed
Maud Robinson last night showed clearly why she is no one's Grandmother. In the clip below (addressing George Lovelace's request for a specific up or down vote) she responds to the request of a widow whose husband was killed on the corner of the new Town Green along Maple Avenue. This man's widow designed a bike rack as a memorial to her late husband. She did so with the approval of the Town. Now the Town says they don't want the memorial, but Maud took her 'no' an extra step. She declared that the Town Green had already been designed and approved and that if they approved this memorial, then next her Garden Club would want a vegetable stand And yes, she made that Garden Club crack in a room of twenty people with this man's widow sitting 15 feet from her. She is plain nasty. You know what wasn't part of the "PROCEDURE" you harp about Maud? This man's death! You should be ashamed, but since you have no shame, we know that is wishful thinking.
Robinson is more than confused. She is mean. And yes, if you listen close, that is someone saying, "She is nuts."

Well isn't this special? There is no "I’m sorry”,” We’ll try to get this solved." There is only the hammer of NO that slams down in so many of our faces. One of the local papers had a big article about this for goodness sake as all but a done deal. It was my understanding that Jane did not want any "inscription", and that was the only concern. Well Maud it looks like you need to go bake another pie and take it over and try to look like the benevolent Grandmother again. When we all know that the height and inscription concerns will be gone when they put up your memorial (much like the statue of Lenin looking down on all that he ruined).

If the town happens to have any type of guidelines, they change them when they want to. Even the Comprehensive Plan, which is suppose to be a set guideline, changes when it is the wish of town council. If this is the Town Green, then why can't it be used by the people for the people? This Town Green is something that only Town Council wanted. I do not know of anyone that wanted this Town Green. Where is the compassion of the Town Council?

Methinks thou doest protest too much... she claims there was an open meeting where all the town residents got together to input what "WE" wanted to have in "HER" town green... that is an out and out Lie! All of the parameters were set per "HER" demands, with little (read NONE) input from what she calls her "public."
And on top of that a fallacious slippery slope argument from Mad Maud... "Probably the next group down here will be my garden club wanting to have a little vegetable garden"... Again "Public" don't be fooled,
Since this all doesn't coincide with Maud’s Legacy (She secretly wants her own statue there, methinks) Maud has to resort in slight of hand moves to make everyone try to "see things her way" without offending other people. Nasty bit of activity, Maud, but sooner or later, people will catch on and see you for the wicked old lady you actually are! Really, Maud, who ought to be ashamed, but alas, methinks, who have no soul, and therefore no shame.
And did you get that statement, "I am a little confused of Councilman’s Lovelace approach..." For all of you who weren't there and also don't understand Maud's Relationship of her "boy" Lovelace, that statement was designed to put Lovelace in his place and to instruct him that he should go no further in supporting this monument, and he caught on very quickly, because his next statements were in contradiction to his initial reflections of attempted support.
He basically pulled a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde move, and became vocally nasty (per Maud's order) towards this grieving widow, and chastised everyone for even bringing the subject up. But don't be fooled, the whole mess was orchestrated by Maud Robinson, because she does NOT want her Monument Town Green to be upstaged by anything but her own offspring.
Maud have you no shame! I really feel sorry for what you have put this woman through. If the press was anything more than mere fluff writers and did their jobs, this nonsense would get out, and Maud, you would be out of a job! But I guess hope springs eternal... that's why they are mere fluff writers, if they were good reporters, they would be writing for the NYT or some other real papers.

Maud: You are wrong! It's a bicycle rack the Town invited. Surely you can find some space for a bicycle rack along the bicycle trail. You had no problem selling suckers bricks with their names engraved in them to be plastered all over the business district... you have no problem rewriting zoning laws to benefit your favorite doll house builder Bukont, you have no problem populating ruleless boards with clueless puppets... how come suddenly you are so PROCEDURE bound? To suggest the Town will be inundated with requests to put GARDENS in the Town Green is ABSOLUTELY FALSE! Just tell your garden club friends to garden elsewhere. Permit the bicycle rack! You get to have your fountain in the Town Green so grow up and cooperate with others. Maud, Vienna is not your Town. It's time for you to step aside.

Maud: I watched your video again. YOU ARE A FRAUD!!! You simply don't like the bicycle rack, but you won't admit it. Instead, you hold your head and moan and whine about procedure like a baby. You need to get flexible or get the hell out of the way to allow Vienna to move forward beyond your selfish view of the world.

She is not a human being. She lacks any human decency or compassion.

Maud how can you be so insensitive to equate the death of a young mother’s husband to your Aryhill Garden Club's vegetable garden? I think this site has been to kind to you. You are more than corrupt. You act evil. It is not to late to move back to Connecticut.

From the horses mouth:
1) "...the public should always know what's going on..."
2) "...I'm a little confused..."
3) "...My garden club..."
4) "...somebody please correct me if I'm wrong..."
OK...the publc knows what's going on...Vienna town gov't is corrupt.
Yes, she is a little confused.
Equating town business to her garden club? Great mentality.
And, lastly...you're wrong on many levels. People are trying to correct you, but you're not listening. Please go run your garden club and leave the town alone.
