Mixed Use Downtown Vienna? Curmudgeon Maud Says We Already Have Condos!
We have already established the nice work being done in Fairfax City and Clarendon. Vienna has nothing like this, but that doesn't stop Vienna's resident curmudgeon from blurting out this wing ding comment:
Maud where are these condos? Can you name any stock of condos built in Vienna in the last 30 years? So are you either a liar or dumb? Or are we all just dumb in your eyes? Vienna has no such mixed use living Maud, whether you are capable of speaking the truth or not.
Worse yet, hear the Mayor in the background seconding all of Darth Maud's idiotic comments? She has no spine to stand up and speak the truth either.

Mommy Mayor I can start posting counter-attacks at my anti-communist site! We can stop these LIES against you and Grandma Maud!!

Not that it speaks to the subject or your issue, but if you listen carefully, she included "apartments" in her statement and yes, there are hundreds of (nasty) old garden-style apartments in the Town - so there you have your mixed use, ay?

Maud you are so right, I particularly like the condos over the Fairfax Auto Parts Store on Church Street. Typical Vienna mixed use retail. Yes we have it all. Continue to protect us.

What happened? There were living quarters above the businesses at the corner of Park and Maple. They are no more but were replaced with a nail business. Recall those businesses were really for town controlled parking at the old Lowe's site.

Maud provides so much enjoyment for so many of us, I almost hate to admit, I will miss her when she is gone. Much like children, Maud says the dardest things! The Church Street condos (built in 1966) will have to suffice as our "McLean Palladium."
