Why Does Mao Robinson Hate the Color Red?

Why does Mao Robinson hate the color red? We are not sure, but we think we may have figured it out.
First, it is a matter of fact that the Vienna Commercial Board of Architecture Review routinely turns down buildings or signs that are "red" in color. No joke, happens all the time. Does Vienna have a code that prevents the color red? No, but it does have a vague law that says their review Board:
"Examines and approves plans for commercial buildings, signs and landscaping to ensure that new construction is not bizarre or garish and is harmonious and compatible with existing buildings."
With that bit of legal prose, Maud is able to keep "red" out of Vienna. But why does she actually use the government to censor a color from Vienna? It has been staring at us for months! Tom Seeman and his web site TheRedHunter.com have laid the answer out in plain view!
Just like Tom Seeman (and his mother Jane the Mayor), Maud is also fighting the red communists. If you are fighting communists, the last thing you want is to have your Town of Vienna colored red! Think we jest? We could not make this up. From Tom Seeman's web site:
"...I remember the exact moment that I finished the book ["1984" by George Orwell]. Before this event, politics, and especially the Cold War struggle against the Soviet Union, were abstractions. No more. "The Soviet Union must be destroyed" went through my mind again and again. I was never taken in by those leftists who insist on seeing Orwell's work as an attack on the west, and in particular the United States. To be sure, we can see "Orwellian" speech in our daily lives, and we sometimes say that "Big Brother" is doing this or that in our country. But there was never any doubt in my mind that Orwell's masterpiece was primarily an attack on the totalitarian mind-control ideologies of his day; Soviet communism and German Nazism. We had defeated the latter, but the former remained a significant threat. This began a life-long study of the world around me. Over the past twenty-five or so years I have read dozens if not hundreds of books on a variety of subjects. Initially my primary reading centered around military history and totalitarian ideologies, and indeed books on these subjects still make up the majority of my library. It always seemed natural for me to be a political conservative. My parents were Republicans, and not being a rebellious type it was natural for me to follow in their footsteps. This, coupled with my anti-Soviet crusade, led me to the right. I suppose if I had been born twenty years earlier the chances of my going to either party were about equal. Up until the late '60s the Democrats were as anti-Soviet as the Republicans. The sea change that occurred at the end of the Vietnam war squelched any chance of my becoming a Democrat. My beliefs have not changed that much over the years. If anything, perhaps I have become more libertarian. As I have grown more as a Christian, I have been less impressed by the "religious right"; something of a paradox, perhaps. I then grew up as a dedicated Cold Warrior. If you check out my personal blog, you'll see that it's got a Cold War name. The story there is simple; when thinking of a title, I started looking at my book collection for inspiration. I came across William F Buckley's The Redhunter. This book tells the story of Senator Joe McCarthy in novel form. Buckley's theme is that while McCarthy and his minon Roy Cohn were scoundrels, the cause of anti-communism is noble and just. It is a theme with which I agree wholeheartedly. I therefore chose it as the title of my blog."
That diatribe from nutbag Tom Seeman is what dinner table conversation at the Mayor's house sounds like. It is seriously time for the far right wing sisters Jane Seeman and Maud Robinson to go. Yes, they may walk around and pretend to be moderate Democrats, but they both supported George Allen. Clearly the behind the scenes views of Tom "The Red Hunter" Seeman show how crazy these people are. Vienna is not a majority "far right wing Communist fighting lost in a different era" community. So why then do we have these political morons leading us?

In the 1970’s and 1980’s Mao Maud USED the Town Government to establish brown and white and brown and yellow as the town colors. Check Fairfax County Court records the Town of Vienna verses the Taco Bell. Look at the silly brown and white logo on the freestanding sign in front of the Taco Bell. Look at the brown theme on Starbucks. Look at how many brown buildings you see in town. Mao Maud will do anything to impose her will on the citizens of the Town. Now you know why Vienna is referred to as Brown Town. Mao Maud hates red.

Tom the Redhunter is simply a fool who thinks his blog make him great because the right wing moon bats read it. He needs to get over himself, and realize that he is as big a fool as the people he purports to criticize.
As for the color red, Maud simply hates that color, and just like Stalin, she will keep you from painting your new house or fence that color because she has the power and is able to abuse it, simply because we let her. We refuse to fight back. And that makes all the difference in the world. When you sit back and do nothing, you are actually allowing for people to get away with hurting your rights and liberties. So today, Maud hates red, tomorrow, it will be she won't allow any PODS in Vienna, and then later she might not want any children in her new Town Green.
She obviously is incapable of any self-control when it comes down to keeping her prejudices and harebrained ideas out of her rhetoric and actions. We know she is a racist, and we know she dislikes children, and we know she hates the color red, and we know the Town Green is her secret legacy.
Is that what we want in a leader? She is wrong for Vienna.
