Chad Bishop Defender Appears to "Spin" for Him
Chad Bishop has his defenders. This post brought in this feedback:
"Once again anyone who happens to offer an alternate point of view to the owner of this site or someone who posts here is immediately slammed as a 'moron' or foolish. Good job keeping your site open to opposing views. What you fail to recognize is Chad may be someone on a commission who might support your cause. Instead of trying to work with him to improve a situation you clearly don’t like you immediately call him a hypocrite for trying to voluntarily work for the community. This is why your cause will be little more than an entertaining website. You publicly flog those who might be in a position to help you."
Everyone can read your opposing view. Now maybe we can get down to specifics? No one is helped by Chad sitting on a corrupt board just because he has political ambitions. If Chad wants to help, he can resign. If Chad really wants to help he can write a letter to the editor slamming the historic district like his prior comments. Will he do that? Can you explain to us how a 30 year old guy who has already acknowledged the idiocy of this board and this district will be able to make a 'heels dug in' Maud Robinson start acting like a fair person? If Chad wants to sit on a corrupt board slamming his neighbors' property rights, he can expect to be slammed back. Do you have better logic to put forward?
The Windover Heights Historic District is in the courts now. Bishop knows that. Bishop is not some innocent volunteering for the community. He is a politician sitting on a political board. He has no authority to remedy anything. He never reached out to ANY neighbor before sitting on this board. Explain to us immediately how Bishop can help the situation. If you can't be specific it won't surprise us.

MAYBE THE NEW CHAD DEFENDER COULD HELP CHAD ANSWER MY QUESTION: Mr. Bishop would you be so kind as to post the GUIDELINES used on the Board and the INVENTORY of the HISTORIC HOMES in the historic district? I plan to build an accessory building much like yours (even though you needed no such extra approval). I live in the historic district and want to know what is acceptable or not. Now that you are on the Board and now that you have already started ruling on neighbors in the historic district, maybe you could tell me what I can or cannot build? Can you also let me know acceptable styles and colors?

Yes, I particularly like the comment above: He never reached out to ANY neighbor before sitting on this board. Explain to us immediately how Bishop can help the situation
It stands to reason that "IF" Chad, really is serious about sitting on this board with the intent that he "WILL" decide to bring change to its mission, so to speak, and to "Make it Right", he is blind to the fact that the prior two people who tried to do just this were let go. One was fired, and one (I think) was allowed to resign.
Ok, Chad, stand up to them and see how far you get. My bet is that you will play their game, maybe with a few well-intended little words of suggestive interpretations, thrown in here and there, but I'll bet hard money that unless you are very serious about taking a stand to fight this Town and speak up and state for the record that this board is unconstitutional, you will be playing right in their hands.
If you do decide to make the right choice and speak up against this board, you will be fired, and you would have done the right thing. Mark my words; you won't have the guts to do the right thing. My guess is, you are in there for the power and glory, all the wrong reasons. We live in this Town, too...and when the rights of some are trampled on by the abuse of others, people get mad, they get angry, and for reasons, less than this, wars have been fought.
SO don't be surprised if you think you can sit on this board without stirring up a wrath of anger you will have caused by simply playing Maud’s game. We already know Maud has no shame, do you?

If Chad had any balls, he would contact his neighbors and resolve all. He doesn't. He is a punk. That's why he is on my team! The only way I can keep power is if I have an ample supply of lemmings that will kiss my ass on command...all because they want their table scrap of power too. Face it, you all admire the machine I have built!

I'm sure Chad is a very nice person. But, anyone with a moral compass would not be involved in the corrupt board in any way, shape or form. It sounds like Chad IS very desperate to get "involved" in politics in one form or another since he accepted the board position that no one else has touched in almost a year.
