Maud Robinson Targets the Vienna Inn for Destruction; Marty, An Old Lady Wants You Gone!

I find it hard to believe the Town would demolish that area. Do you have some substantial proof that the Town has actually discussed that possibility, and how would they acquire the land?

Everyone knows that Maud is a crazy-ass Cat Lady. We can't let her get rid of the Vienna Inn -- it's an institution! Once it goes, the "flavor" of Vienna goes.

Instead, let's force old Maud to sell her million dollar shack, and take her 100 or so cats with her when she leaves Vienna!

The service there does suck, though. It's been at least a couple months since a new Starbucks has opened up on Maple Avenue. You dare speak out against such progress? I think Maud knows better than you what constitutes 'historic.' If she was alive before it was built it doesn't count.

Maybe another bank is what Vienna needs. But did Maud say what should be done with the empty lot next to her?

OMG people are having fun in Vienna...they're talking to each other.....it actually is the only place that gives you that "small town feel".....it MUST be destroyed!

Actually, the service there is pretty good. Has been for some time. Even if this is a "contrived" thread, it serves to advertise the Inn. :-)
I saw Dellinger there Monday night.
I know that Jane frequents the greasy burger joint near Magruders. Maybe 1 burger place in town is the limit.

If you actually make the comment "the service sucks," you obviously aren't a local!

I'm sick of all these "new" Vienna people who expect good service - you have to earn it at the Inn! ;0

If you do not remember when Jimmie's taxicab company was based under the Vienna Inn then you are a newcomer!

This seems to be a big smoke screen - no way the Inn is going anywhere. It would be political suicide. No matter what you think of it the place is a landmark in this community and has just too deep of a following.
