Charles Anderson Thinks Everyone in Vienna Is Stupid

What a BIG FAT Liar and a BIG FAT Joke. Regarding Chuckie's own words:

"As Council is aware, the Historic District of Windover Heights is the subject of fairly intense development pressures. Having gone through the experience of trying to make a new structure compatible with the neighborhood, I would like to extend my experience to assisting in the preservation and revitalization of the neighborhood."

He had no problem supporting the absolute largest home in all Vienna, The Steven's House, or what people along the street refer to as the Convention Center, but he came out and vehemently fought against the house right across the street, which was just a fraction of the size, and all for what?... because one of Maud's past cronies happened to not to like it.

Chuckie Adolf Anderson is a liar, a hypocrite and obviously not objective when it comes to anything having to do with the Historic District. Again, another application to serve submitted that would be better used on the floor of a bird cage catching poops.

Vienna has a handful of unethical people who refuse to stand on their own two feet. They stand only for what Mad-Lady Maud tells them to do.

It is ironic that the malformation of the Windover Heights Historic District has defeated its real purpose. I bet the garden clubbers are green with envy watching Steve Bukont actually build the charming residential district they try to legislate so miserably. How does he do it? Hard work! Charles Anderson isn't going to preserve or revitalize anything sitting on a review board... he just wants to protect his own self interests. No builder is going to waste their time on the poorly situated Windover Heights Historic District and subject themselves to a review board when the entire Vienna SE area close to the Metro is ready and waiting for redevelopment. The Windover Heights Historic District is nothing more than a boat anchor around the necks of those who want it and those who live there. Installing a resident of the district to rule arbitrarily over his neighbors is allowing the situation to get worse. This speaks to the integrity of our Town leadership. Are you listening, Vienna! This is not right and regardless of your stance on this controversy, this should tell you that it is time for new leadership in the Town of Vienna... our residents and employees deserve better!

It's happening already. I live in the Hysterical District. I asked a contractor for a bid to perform some work. I asked if he was going to clear it through the various hoops of fire that are certainly required. He said "No. You get to do that. In fact, we don't do much work in this area because of those fools"

The alleged Windover Heights historic district is as phony as the Arlington County log cabin at Windover and Walnut Lane as are the Stevens, Anderson and Hyde structures. The tax supported Historic Vienna Inc org should be eliminated.

Agreed! It really burns to know that the garden clubbers siphon off our tax dollars for their tea parties without a referendum while we residents can't even walk to town without having to negotiate a hodge-podge of missing and crumbling asphalt walks. Vienna is how old? Maud's dynasty is historic incompetence! Check out the over-priced DC water supply? Check out the new police station that doesn't fit! Check out the buildings in disrepair surrounding the new Waters Field. Check out the walkless ditch-bound roads all over town... even the simplest little stretches go unfinished for eternity. Check out the limited access across the W&OD trail... why does this trail divide and isolate whole neighborhoods? Historic Church Street is an eyesore between Park and Beulah... the oldest freakin' rode in town and it's still lined with open ditches and litter. Students can't even walk to Madison High School without walking in Windover Street, sharing that narrow walkless entrance road with cars and busses rushing to and from the school. Nice, Maud! You've got money for penny candy, white wash, new historic porches, fiber optic Internet service for your Freeman Store club house, and a legal defense for your illegal historic buddies, but our children have to walk the streets dodging hectic drivers year after year after year. You should be ashamed! Don't even think about putting any Robinson plaques in OUR Town Green or they will be defaced. Vote Maud out, Vienna! We got rid of Georgie Boy Allen... now it's time for real leadership in Vienna!
