Laine Hide Takes Public Service Seriously. Not

From the January 18th meeting of the Commercial Architectural Review Board comes Laine Hide...

First, from the left side of the room. Then from the right side of the room. The building plans in Hide's hands are indeed moving as the camera moves. Seriously, why does Vienna have someone on a Board clearly not cut out for public service? Laine was a great candidate for the old private service routine in Vienna, but this website changed that game forever. We would think Hide would be proud to serve on this Board. Why does she seem embarrassed?

There you go again... this is simply Laine Hide's way of censorship. Since banning the video documentation of Town Meetings failed last year, Laine Hide, who has claimed in the past that this website has jeopardized her social standing, has decided to fight this battle using gorilla warfare, misspelling intentional.

So, she has decided to put up a handy piece of newspaper in front of herself to keep herself off the screen.

Seriously, we were not even trying to photograph her solo, but we noticed her effort because we had to move the camera when the last applicant came up before the board with large posters, and we had to move the camera up to avoid missing the action.

It became obvious that Hide the Hyde thought we moved the camera just for her alone...

HOW PATHETIC. I about laughed out loud, but refrained, because I know how seriously these members take their jobs, and I didn't wish to show any disrespect for the people representing the bank.

That's a lot more than I can say for Laine the Hide Hyde. She Obviously cares little and simply has no serious minded or intellectual credibility for her position on this board, to say nothing about her paranoia regarding her "Social Standing in Vienna."

On a side note, my hat goes off to Paul Layer, who successfully and very professionally kept the group from derailing one of the petitioners, when he stopped the inane protests from the Board's Chairman, Shirley Damon, who seemed to merely want to complain about something or anything that night.

So she did, and Paul Layer acted, and the petitioner was saved.

I see the man on Hide's left is not afraid of the camera. OMG that is Roy Baldwin! Laurie Cole's personal sock puppet. I wonder if he passes out copies of the board guidelines before every meeting? Wish I never left the board.

There was never a board meeting when someone should not have quieted Damon. I know that Travis did not sign the comment because her name would be in all caps if not cyrillic or some such thing.

Laine Hide is a sitcom character at this point. That kind of behavior can't really be normal for public figures. I'm having a hard time believing it even took place.

Maud if you are reading this pulleeeese make them all stop! Just say the word, and I will resign. Please let me go, please, please, please. Please let me be next to leave!

Lane, you should show a little more interest in the BAR agenda. Stop looking in the newspaper for FRUITCAKE recepies. Just look at the board members around you. Plenty of FRUITCAKES.

Man do I look garish on those two!
