Laine Hyde and Maud Robinson Exchange "Eyes"

In the video below several aspects of the corrupt Vienna machine are in action. First, the Mayor is asked if it is appropriate to have residents of the Historic District sitting on a review board armed with no standards able to deny their immediate neighbor. The clip edited for brevity then finds the Mayor unable to answer basic questions as to whether anything in Vienna is actually "historic." Lastly, in an effort to explain why she left the Historic Review board Laine Hyde blows some serious 'crazy person' wind. The best part of Hyde's talk? Check out Maud sending her "eye" signals of approval as Hyde launches into her laughable statement of objectivity:
