Jane and Maud Discuss Economic Development in the Stone Age
This is a 25 minute video clip (25MB) from Monday's Town Council work session. Note how Council members Kelleher and Polychrones address legitimate issues only to be shouted down by Mother Maud. Seeman seems lost throughout. Lovelace's statements are an embarrassment (he is either spinning or ignorant). Cole has no other objective except to try and assume Maud's role when she is gone (and make lots of $).
This file was too big to go on YouTube.com. The video is only grainy due to compression. If the Council was not so intent on "hiding", and put meetings on cable, this would not be an issue.

This was an amazing posting. To think that Town of Vienna council wants to do what is good for the citizens and for the businesses. We all know what disaster happened with the shopping center at Park and Maple. TC approved this development with almost no parking for the customers. We think that TC can do better for other areas on Maple Avenue?
Some of the council members tried to think positive for the future of Vienna. Hurray for Edythe and Mike.
Of course Maud talks with her friends who have been brainwashed with fear from her. If she approved parking in the 60's, where the heck is the parking in Vienna? Wouldn't the citizens like to do some shopping in Vienna instead of going to Tysons?

In this clip Maud clearly and openly displays the contempt she has of those who do not follow her. No wonder Maud doesn't want any cameras on her. If people could see how she monopolizes and manipulates she might have been gone already. Mike Polychrones and Edyth Kelleher bring on issues that need to be raised and Maud does not even give Polychrones the respect of looking at him while he is speaking. She is too busy formulating her diatribe. Maud then further displays contempt by interrupting Kelleher with her brilliant forward thinking-small town feel crap. I don't remember 23 banks and an upwards of 80,000 cars a day on Maple Ave in Mayberry.

WOW. I don't think that leaders go around waving their arms saying "I don't know" every other statement. I heard that she has children and grandchildren in the area. Do they not want nice things to walk to? Does Jane not want her grandchildren to be raised in a safe community? Why has she sold her soul to Maud? Jane is some leader!

DICTATOR MAUDE SAYS SHE TALKS WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE. HOWEVER, IF SHE DOES LISTEN IT SEEMS SHE ONLY REMEMBERS THE ONES THAT AGREE WITH HER. MAUDE, LIKE IT OR NOT YOU CAN NOT GO BACK TO 1948. AT ELECTION TIME, IT'S TIME FOR MAUDE TO GO.

What an absolute waste of time and money. With all of that hot air, they could have filled the Hindenburg!
I heard so much, well, crap, and nothing useful.
All that pontificating and self-serving rhetoric, yet they said nothing in 25 minutes.
