George Creed Votes For His Wife's Financial Well Being at Green Hedges School
Green Hedges School in Vienna recently came forward with a program for an expanded school in a residential area. They appeared before the Planning Commission and lost on a unanimous vote. George Creed, who is on the Planning Commission recused himself on the vote because his wife works there (and since he was being filmed). Green Hedges then scaled back the plan and went before the Planning Commission again. Since there were no cameras this time, Creed voted and the school project passed. What a way to give your wife financial security! Creed should be tossed off this Board immediately for knowingly committing a gross conflict of interest. Anyone who has seen this moron speak in public knows we are not exaggerating. Georgie boy, you better watch yourself, conflicted politicians often get in trouble with law enforcement.

How awful! How crooked! Once again proving that if the light is not shone on these people they will do whatever they want. This decision should be reversed. Didn't HV just give the Planning Commission kudos not to long ago? Never mind it's now business as usual. Please let the Sunshine in and vote new people in!

George Creed is a hypocrite for first recusing himself and then later not recusing himself!
But, really, who cares? Let them build like crazy all over that Historic District. They deserve their narrow, walkless, congested alleys and queer housing!

HV,
Do you know it is Freedom of Information Day?
How are you celebrating?

The problem is TG...Green Hedges is not in the HD! ...but agree with your description.

Creed takes the customary and well known path most politicians and their crony friends have long taken in the TOV. We NEED to vote these people out and fire people like Creed, who's morals are few if none at all. If he feels any sense of decency, he should resign, but, hell will freeze over before any of these people will develop any sense of morality.

Can you get a picture of Creed with bars in front of his mug?

This clown is going down.

Mayor Jane are you going to address the Creed conflict of interest? Jane, will you bury your face in your hands and hide as you have In the past? You have a responsibility to the citizens of Vienna to remove Creed from the Planning Commission immediately. You know that Creed should have rescued himself. Creed’s wife works for Green Hedges. Greed’s grandchildren go to Green Hedges. He had a very obvious conflict. The Town is waiting to see if you can divorce yourself from Maud and fire one of her lackeys. Personally I do not think you have the spine to remove Creed.

Well another prime example of Green Hedges being a good neighbor!

Everyone at Green Hedges is a COMPLETE JOKE!
One minute they are fighting any development whatsoever on one block. The next minute they are proposing 100,000 SF underground firetraps for their kids to play in a block away.

Where is Chuck Andersen and the "mass & density" boy scouts this go around on Windover Ave?

Camera present, Creed recuses himself, Camera not present, Creed votes. Open question to all to Town Council members: when are you going to tape the meetings and properly record the minutes? Is this too much to ask of government body?

What a disappointment. I can imagine what he must have been like as a kid... he was probably the one kid on the block that everyone smacked in the face for being such a jerk... and now he abuses his power to get back at the masses.
He should be investigated. But I suspect Mr. Briglia will argue temporary insanity, or give some argument that Creed the Greed didn't actually vote the school, saying something like, "I voted against the school before I voted for it..." so it doesn't count.
Greedy Creedy won't resign, I'll bet you a dollar, he is above the law, just like Cole and Maud.

THIS WEB SITE IS THE ONLY LIGHT SHINING IN ON TOWN OF VIENNA POLITICS. IN THIS REGARD, THE LOCAL "NEWS" PAPERS ARE A COMPLETE WASTE OF PRINTERS INK.

Do you think Brian Trompeter will report George Creed's recusal flip-flop, conflict of interest, and hypocrisy? I don't think so! Boycott George Creed... do not conduct your real estate business with this junk mailer.
And what about Chuck Anderson sitting on the Windover Heights Review Board getting to vote on who can build what next to his house?
Vienna Town government is inbred and unprofessional. It's time to clean it up. Vote, Vienna!
