HistoricVienna.com is "THE" Town of Vienna, Virginia 22180 blog and political must read destination. Forget the party line spin of local newspapers, this is the destination for honest and blunt insight on all Town of Vienna, Virginia issues. Our site is read daily by every Vienna Council Member (like Jane Seeman and Maud Robinson), Town Board Member and Town employee, but none will ever admit it!
This site was originally started to document the inconsistencies within the Windover Heights Historic District. A quick synopsis of Vienna, Virginia "historic" politics.

Hi Anne,
Sorry you're homesick!
If Vienna is your legal residence and you're registered to vote here, remember that you can still vote by mail using an absentee ballot.
You can request an absentee ballot form at: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/eb/absentee.htm.

Election Strategy
Someone on this blog suggested that people should vote for only one candidate. But this strategy won't work as well as voting for the maximum allowed--three. Unfortunately, with 5 people running, it will be impossible to get rid of all the incumbnts, so it's important to at least get rid of the worst one. I think most of us agree, that would be Maude. To do that, she needs to get the least number of votes & the best way for that to happen is for everyone to vote for basically everyone EXCEPT Maude. That means, pick the 3 least evil of the 5.
