Brian Trompeter: Bought and Paid For; He Should Be Tossed
Brian Trompeter, the local reporter for Vienna we recently profiled, sees this website in simple terms:
"...www.historicvienna.com a Web site that posts photos and derogatory comments about Town Council members and people who serve on the town's boards and commissions..."
Does this site rip incompetent politicians? Of course. But how does Trompeter ignore the volume of detailed content contained herein? EASY. Trompeter is a journalistic fraud desirous of seeing Maud stay in office.
Should Brian Trompeter Be Deciding Vienna Elections?
Or Should He Be Given a Lollipop & Sent to His Room?

No argument with that... you can always count on Brian to softsell. I wonder how he views Bukont's "fu*king moron" assault on the public in Town Council Chambers? Unlike Bukont's government regulatory meeting, this website is for its voluntary readers.

No wonder Brian Trompeter wants to keep the things the same... i.e. Maud in Power, with Video of the Town Meetings, he won't be needed anymore, not that he was of any use anyway, but he's see's his role in providing "news" for Vienna getting smaller and smaller, which is good for Vienna, because he was never very good at it.
Maybe he can get to writing for the school newspaper about his favorite topics: how to be a brown-noser and how not to offend the powers in control. He's such a loser. It's amazing when the messenger becomes the object of the message: Doesn't that mean, he's is no longer effective in providing the news?
He should be fired.
PS The TOV will have you think they cannot afford to have the TOV gov taped, broadcast and available 24-7 online such as Granicus.com
They state with the nearly 300,000+ $$$ they get from the cable stations and Verizon, they cannot afford to do it. I know for a fact what it costs, the infrastructure and startup and repeating costs. They have more than enough money to do it twice over. SO don't get fooled again over this issue... the TOV just does not want you to see how unfair and mean they are to some ordinary people in Vienna, and how fast they will roll over with the fat cats, like Mr. Stevens, for instance. Big powerful players in town get what they want, and small ordinary people get the shaft!
VOTE MAUD OUT!

Since Brian failed to write the truth about what happened at the recent candidate's debate, I've been trying to post a response to the Sun Gazette Web site. However, my comments aren't being approved by the site administrators. I wonder why?

There's more and more support for historicvienna.com. www.deborahbrehony.com and www.dandellinger.com send their website visitors directly to this site!

Trompeter knows exactly what he was writing. Heck, Maud probably supplied with the language to describe this site.
Of course, he could have been factual:
Like many political blogs that have sprouted up in the past few years, HistoricVienna.com has had it's share of controversy. Partly because it is the only public and, for the most part, unrestricted blog dedicated to the Town of Vienna. Satirical one-liners are posted along side very serious political debates. No matter how you feel personally about the site, it has definitely carved out a powerful niche in town since politicians and town employees read it daily.

In a word, he's a putz.
Need I say more?

Because he is the story, he fails to be effective in providing "news". Is there a pool for how long he will last?
