Dan Dellinger Opines
From the Connection this week about Dan Dellinger:
Some of [Dellinger's] ideas for tackling [traffic] problems include finding ways to increase the efficiency of the flow of traffic through Maple Avenue and working to introduce a shuttle system in town.
Dellinger is not Maud and not George, but he needs to resign from the nonsensical Historic Vienna, Inc. Board of Directors immediately and ditch the idea of a shuttle bus (who pays?, upkeep?, don't we have Metro Buses already?) and concentrate on REAL issues.

Who Are these people and what are they doing with our taxpayers money playing in their own private club? I have heard that they get almost a million dollars a year to play with?

Some of these people do not even live in the Town of Vienna, either, why do they get $O much money to play in their own private garden club?
Who decides how much money they get, and who decides what they get to spend all their loot on?
Why does an elected official or relative of an elected official get special permission to sit on this Board when their are clear conflicts of interest being that there are issues that come before their own council of the Town of Vienna?
Accountability starts at the ballot box.

The same garden clubbers that decided to build a Town Green for their Freeman Store Club House. They've gotten away for years with pissing our tax dollars away on their own special little interest group. Well it's time to dismantle this nonsense... Vote, Vienna! Let the free market work... if there is demand in Vienna for the garden club, then let them fund themselves. I'd rather my tax dollars be spent on needed human services and not on Maud's cronies and their special interest hobby club. It really ticks me off that my family has to hand over our money to fund these people's hobbies... this is wrong and must stop! Mayor Robinson is dead and gone. It's time to vote Maud Robinson out of Town government.

For those of you new to HV.com, Dan was never elected to the Town Council - he was appointed by Maud the Fraud after poor Sydney Verinder couldn't take Maud's crap anymore and quit the Town Council.
Dan was appointed to the Town Council after he had proven himself as a Maud's goon on the Vienna Architectural Review Board. While on the board, he bullied and threatened Vienna residents and small business people and cost these folks hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ask yourself, if Dan did such a great job on the ARB, then why does Vienna look like a hodge-podge of run-down strip malls?
