Maud & Jane Equal Power Lines Everywhere
Many people don't even notice them, but take a look at the power lines in Vienna. They are everywhere. EVERYWHERE. They make our community look second rate. When you see Maud or Jane next ask them how they could have supported all above ground power lines for the last 50 years. Did they have NO vision?

Those power lines and utility poles really are the first thing you notice on Maple Avenue. And they ARE distinctive! How many other downtowns can you think of with such character enhancements?

Vienna had the ability to put them underground at least twice in recent history. Once was when they laid the brick sidewalks, and another was when Verizon came in laying their wire.

We're supposed to have 50-60mph winds today. Wonder how those poles and wires are going to do?
