Maud's Campaign Brochure; The Same One She Used in 1867

And for those who don't like the "old" references, tough. There are plenty of accomplished, progressive citizens over 80 in this country. Tons. Maud is not one. She is angry, bitter and keeps power through the use of fear.

1) she started Walk on the Hill for campaign purposes for her husband Charlie, and is now restricting others to do the same. Basically acknowledging she does not like competition.
2) she then took over the property rights of a residential neighborhood, and deemed it "historic."
3)she established Freeman House as Historic while tearing down the Moorefield House which was Historic.
4) she got federal funding for the dim street lights and faulty bricks that we are constantly tripping over and re-placing, rather than putting that money into OUR residential sidewalks.
5) she started the ARB which only dictates the "likes and dislikes" of the board. It essentially does nothing because HER zoning allows "by right" buildings to be built, aka one story banks.
4) this looks like the same brochure as the walk on the hill brochure. WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS CAMPAIGN BROCHURE?? Did the same meteorologist come up with her campaign points as well?
5) she has the gull to print something about sidewalks and traffic when under HER FIEFDOM THIS MESS WAS CREATED!

6) she wants to 'talk" more about the Maple Ave dog and pony show. I guess that over 5 years on the same project is not enough??? LETS STUDY IT SOME MORE MAUD!

Small town feel to her means that she gets away with anything she wants to spend as long as she thinks you believe her crap about small town feel. She approved the Steven's House: clearly 1500% larger than any other home in Vienna, and 300% larger than most homes in McLean, VA - you call that "small town feel"? What a joke.

She approved the pitiful expansion of 3 foot sidewalks along Church Street, most of which are crumbling, all so Bukont could build his buildings that violate the present code as is stands, and leave little or no parking for those people that maybe interested in visiting the businesses along Church Street... this is just the opposite of anything having to do with a small town feel.

She's a multi-millionaire who spouts that she is all about small town feel, but in the background, she gives special favors to people who don't have any reason to keep this town anywhere close to keeping the small town feel alive. Why?

Ask yourself? Read her statement of worth. She is not being truthful when it comes to politics in Vienna, she's all about power and legacy, and her corruption surrounding the Town Green will prove it.

She will be seen as the person who has hurt Vienna more than anyone ever realized.

Translation:

Maud's been here forever. She's not interested in planning for the future, and only wants to hold on to the past.

I guess she thinks all the seniors in town will fall for her nonsense.

You've got a surprise in store for you, Maud. The seniors I know are smarter than that, and I keep hearing that they want you to go!

Why didn't she brag about the millions of tax dollars she spent on the Vienna Town Green?

In her brochure, she states that she is the person who "made" the Patrick Library what it is today.

If "I" were her, I wouldn't be bragging. It's way too small, crampy, and dank in most areas, and I don't like taking my children in their because is seems like it is always dirty, for some reason. It is not very well laid out, and I have been to several other Fairfax County Libraries, and all of them are much better, better lighting, more seating arrangements, less cramped, and most have, for instance, video rooms with thousands of videos to choose from, and Vienna gets, what: "the hand me downs?"

Where on that brochure are there any lines describing anything of importance in Vienna? Things that have gotten done that actually "help" Vienna, and NOT just your Historic Garden Club for all your chummy friends to sit around and "Hrumph" about the people you don't like in Vienna?

You are too old, and too "historic" to be good for Vienna. Whether you win or lose this go-around, you will eventually go by the way of the dinosaurs, rather than being honored for the things in a way befitting an old useless politician, but you would rather hold onto the edge and keep your seat of power and corruption based solely on your own greedy needs.

Sad, in a way.

Vienna, please vote this person out. On the last walk on the hill, I saw all you politicians out walking with Davis, etc. What needs to have happen is someone to put up a large screen, so people can view this site, as they go walking about the "small town streets" in Vienna. Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to pretend the emperor has no clothes with this walk on the hill? That is, are you trying to pretend this town is really concerned about historic preservation, when all I can see, is just the opposite: no Moorefield, no old Post Office, no small town Police Station, ill-fitting expansion/construction" in "your historic Church Street", most of the homes in your "historic district" are less than 10 years old, not historic, or small, and certainly having nothing to do with "small town feel".

Mrs. Robinson, you don't have any idea about what Vienna is anymore, unless, it's something you can "control" and state that "you know better"... You don't.

Go Daddy is one of the most popular (and economical) blind hosting companies on the internet. Millions of people and businesses use Go Daddy to park or host business and personal domains.

I think either you don't understand how web site addresses are bought and parked or hosted, or you are trying your damnedest to connect HV with the referral, as a way to stir the pot.

Don't you think if the owner of HV.com registered MaudRobinson.com he'd be bragging about it all over the place? I know I would!

It matters because although this site claims "no BS or no SPIN", and all I did was post information, much like I did regarding the wikipedia posting, it struck a nerve, for some reason.
Recall, I was applauded for finding the Wiki information. I search and post information and cite a coincidence and it irritates some.

I think the issue is that HV.com said very clearly TWICE they do NOT own the domain, maudrobinson.com.

Whomever owns that name does not want anyone to know and I doubt they will come forward to announce their identity.
