Tragedy at Virginia Tech Hits Vienna

Maxine Turner, a Madison High School graduate, was killed yesterday at Virginia Tech. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Having grown up in Vienna and graduated from Madison H.S., I am completely heart broken over the tragedy at Virginia Tech yesterday and deeply saddened that it is affecting our community so personally.

JMHS has had its share of tragedy in recent years and it hurts everyone in the community when something as horrible as this hits home.

My heart goes out to all of Ms. Turner's family and friends.

Thank you Madison grad. This puts the the light on what is really important doesn't it. My heart, and my prayers go out to the Turner family. I would like suggestions as to what we can do for them.

Dear Vienna Friends,
Thought you'd want to know that expressions of sympathy for Maxine Turner's family are being collected at the front office of Madison High School. Someone from the staff will deliver the condolences to Maxine's family.
