Jane Seeman Starts An Investigation of Herself?

Read Jane Seeman's response to one Vienna voter who questioned the election process (Note: Once image loads, click on it again to make larger). Does anyone remember hearing about this investigation now supposedly underway?

We propose appointing a blue ribbon committee of Laine Hyde, Howard Springsteen, George Creed and Mother Maud to investigate. A fine group of citizens like that will surely find the truth!

Opps Jane, words mean things. Would you care to tell the people of Vienna what type of investigation is underway, conducted by who, and of whom? Jane you are not investigating yourself are you?

Vienna is filled with smart people. Liberal and conservative, republican and democrat. Even libertarians. Why are we as a group, regardless of political belief, putting up with a political dolt who seemingly doesn't have an honest bone in her body?

Para one: We had nothing to do with it.
Para two: The electoral board is investigating.
Para three: But, be made aware that our election was certified by the Board.

Para two: The electoral board is investigating.

The letter says "will be investigated". Seeman is writing the letter. How can she be speaking for anyone but herself? Words like "investigation" mean things. Who is doing an investigation, how will it be conducted and who is the target?

...."any irregularities will be investigated."

Get it? Jane et al does not think that there were any irregularities, therefore no investigation; therefore keep moving citizens, nothing to see. That broom has got to be tired from sweeping all this dirt under the carpet for so many years.

Wow she sounds a bit snappy and inconvenienced. Too bad Mayor.

Dear Jane:

It is irregular and improper for you to import your son from Leesburg to stand outside of our polling place on election day to expose his political opinion about our Town candidates and affairs. He is not a resident of Vienna and you were not a candidate. And it is no small irony that his similar cheerleading outside of Walter Reed Medical Center also failed to realize that the real mess, the real disgrace was on the inside... at Walter Reed... at the Whitehouse... and in your house, Jane.

You continue to disgrace the Town's Office of Mayor through your insidious self-promotion as exampled here and elsewhere, such as accepting carpentry services in kind from Bukont and favoring him with priviledged information (yes, we know), appointment to Town boards, and special exceptions to Town codes and zoning regulations. And let's not forget your blatant lying that Town staff does not selectively manage the oversight of Town elections. To paraphrase county and state officials, yours is shabby politics, Jane.

You are not credible nor trustworthy, Jane. Please do show all of Vienna that your improprieties will not be tolerated and will not be allowed to happen again. Hiding your face in public is insufficient recourse.

Resign, Jane!

The ONE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION:

Which one is true?

A.) "Elections in Vienna are conducted by the Fairfax County Electoral Board in accordance with the Code of Virginia" - Mayor Seeman

or ......

B.) "For reasons lost in the mists of time, we had a practice of deferring to the Vienna folks, whom we thought were sending us a slate of even-handed election officials" - Robert Sparks

A favorite quote from Tommy Seeman:

"The politicians can then say to the blacks and union members "hey, don't look at me", while it's wink wink to the gays." -- Tom Seeman

We are not saying Tom Seeman has to like or not like any one person, group or ethnic group, but the sheer fact that this bigot writes this stuff in a public forum is telling about him and his "candidates". Why would Mayor Seeman (2006 campaign) and Maud Robinson (2007 campaign) have this guy in public on the day of the election handing out their literature?

I guess that Jane's idea of an investigation depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is. Or was that some other politician who said that? Too hard to keep track of all those clowns.

My brother is a career military man, and is currently serving in the Middle East. Every day of the last 19 years, he has risked his life on behalf of our country and the freedom we enjoy.

Today is Memorial Day. If you run into Jane or any of the Town Council members, please remind them that people have died to protect our right to free elections - and that they have no right to throw that away!
