Lighting Dead Trees is a Skill Maud Learned in New England

Right now at 2pm in the afternoon, on an extremely sunny and hot day, the Town of Vienna has the lights on at the base of all of the dead trees at the Town Green. Do the dead trees really need to be lit right now? Go Maudasaurus! Keep wasting money!

Speaking of trees. Is the spruce tree at Church and Mill Streets a hazard or not. If it is why is it still standing. As I recall all the hype about the TG was that a new tree was planted to replace the holiday tree.
