Web Traffic Update

June 2007 was a record for visits to this site. A close second was July 2007. While a relatively few number of people feel safe posting, it seems a huge number of people feel comfortable stopping by to read. This site has been up since November 2005 and for July 2007, smack in the middle of summer, to be the 2nd busiest month ever speaks to people's desire for information in this Town.

I've lurked on the sight lately as I enjoy the chuckles I get from the back and forth. Thought I'd admit to the visits with a post today.

Any comments on putting a stop sign at Old Courthouse and Creek Crossing while traffic grows because of the Beulah Rd. project. I hear there was a terrible accident there the other day.

I guess numbers lie too? I always find it amazing that when the people who disagree with this site spout venom, but try to pretend they are so "above it." Sorry it really is easy to see through your hypocrisy. I'm sorry I missed YOUR name:-)

All of your posts, under your many aliases & over many months, have been posted - have they not? Instead of crying that no one is listening to your view, try saying something that you can logically defend supported by facts. Why don't you, since you are clearly a Maud supporter, defend her and her policies? The floor is yours.

Sad to think that there actually are hundreds of people who like to visit HV. Whether or not they post is irrelevant - they feel the need to read.

I commented on this last spring. The {...]s didn't take action... same {...] failure at Church/Lawyers and Park/Locust. But Maud has a convenient 3-way stop outside her front door at Lawyers/Locust where there is much less traffic.
