Is it just me or is the black and white photo of Chap pretty cute?!
A hot family man wins out any day over the PTA president.

Read the second sentence regarding "Pocketing The Cash".....
Who should REALLY get the "F" here?

>>Oh, Jeannemarie, you fool:
Indeed. So Chap is bad because Enron and Bechtel are bad? I guess when your own incestuous record is neck deep in mud and slime, you mail some of it around and hope it sticks. That may fool the garden club set, but I say it's time for new representation when your politicians and their best friends are all in bed together.

I don't think anyone's all that thrilled about our options for state senate. How about some debate over the Hunter Mill county supervisor candidates? I've never seen Cathy Hudgins do anything to help Vienna. Would any of the other candidates be any better?

Good reason to throw the incumbant out... encourages challengers to run and puts all on notice to keep the faith or else you're out of there!

Is it just me or does everyone get the urge to grab a scissors and cut Jeannemarie's hair away from her eyes?!

Is anyone actually running against that genius Cathy Hudgins? She once sent me a letter claiming that she had CUT my property taxes. Curiously though, the real estate tax bill INCREASED--just not quite as much as it would have without Miss Cathy's generous "cut".

Speaking of ethics, I wonder how many people actually buy a sign permit from the Town before they post political signs in their yard? For example, consider Mr. Cook at 135 Park St. NE on the corner at historic Church Street. Do you think he paid for a sign permit and then went home and posted all of those Jeannemarie signs in gross violation of the Town's sign permit rules... or do you think he just went ahead and violated the rules for free? Perhaps Mr. Cook is a Town of Vienna insider and doesn't have to abide by the rules?
And what about Jeannemarie... her campaign gives out those big signs and may even install them... does this violation of the rules reflect on her ethics? I suppose her campaign would simply say, 'we can't keep track of every sign'. Yet she is a Town resident and experienced politician... you would think her campaign would make sure to not give out too many signs to any one Town resident. Now everytime I see a Jeannemarie political sign, I'm reminded to consider her ethics.

I thought the zoning ordinances regarding temporary signage was only pertaining to yard sales, real estate and other "business-related" events.
http://www.viennava.gov/Town_Regulations/zoning_regs.htm#SIGNS
What are the rules about political signs other than they cannot be in the right-of-way (re: first 15 feet of your property).
Lastly, I was aware that Jeannemarie and Tom lived just outside the town limits. Anyone?

Follow and read the ***sign permit*** link I posted above.

I couldn't help but notice that Chap Peterson placed 8th in the 30-39 year old men in the Vienna Elem 5k run:

Every candidate gets a permit for their signs in Vienna. One fee, for as many signs as they like. Individual homeowners do not have to a permit for a political sign.
Yes, Tom and Jeannemarie live outside the town, Vienna address.
If Chap wins and the Senate goes democrat, you're all screwed. You might want to remember that when you pay your higher tax bills and get even less to show for them.
Ditto if Connelly wins. We can all watch the traffic get worse while we pay more in real estate taxes, with nothing to show for them.

Good to know. So Jeannemarie is violating her sign permit by posting more than 20 sq. ft. of signage on Mr. Cook's property. I hearby publicly request in writing that the Town of Vienna enforce their sign permit law. Yeah, right, like they enforce Bukont's home occupancy permit!
Now what is the point of having a sign permit law that restricts the total signage to 20 sq. ft. PER PERMIT HOLDER... per politician? What issue exactly is this restriction intended to address if a property owner can still post 10,000 sq. ft. of political signs on his front lawn for 500 different politicians/permit holders? This is clearly another Town of Vienna nonsense law put in place by nitwits so that they can jerk people around when it suits them.

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE ABOUT TAXES AND CONNELLY A PROVEN TRACK RECORD FOR RAISING TAXES AND OVER TAXING OUR ROADS ECT.. THAT IS WHY I AM VOTING BAISE.
CHAP ON THE OTHER HAND HAS NOT RAISED OUR TAXES AT EVERY TURN WHERE JEANMARIE HAS.
CHAP/BAISE !

Talk about ethics: I just got a call that said on the caller ID Tom Davis Congressional Office. Who was on the other end but someone calling to solicit help for Jeanmarie. I do not appreciate my tax dollars nor our Congressman's time campaigning for his wife.
