No Gangs Here in Vienna. Right Mad Maud?
From the local papers:

Suspected gang member arrested in Vienna
Fairfax County
Source: Fairfax County Times
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5 2007
Around 8:53 p.m., PFC Dean Bailey of the Vienna Police Department stopped a 1997 Toyota Corolla in the 200 block of Maple Avenue SE for failing to use headlights. According to the Vienna Police Department, PFC Bailey determined that the driver, Walter Martinez, was wanted in connection with his alleged involvement in a robbery and malicious wounding at the Cedar Lane Shopping Center [For reference the location in question] in June. In the earlier incident, a security guard at the shopping center observed three men attempting to break into an automobile. One of them was armed with a knife, police said. When police responded, they located an injured robbery victim. A police statement about the June incident described Martinez as a known member of [a local gang]. Additionally, Martinez had two warrants on file for failing to appear at court hearings in Fairfax County. Bailey arrested Martinez and transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond. Jose Javier Ayala, also connected with the June incident at the Cedar Lane shopping center, remains at large.

Keep those heads in the sand Mayor and TC, because if you don't you may realize we actually have Big Town problems!

From what I have read regarding Connelly he does not want to work with surrounding jurisdictions (such as PG county and Prince William) regarding this problem. It may be time for new leadership for Supervisor!

Freedom to congregate. Freedom to work. God Bless America!
Editor's Note: This post was not by the person who typically gos by the name "Town Green". It is a "fake".

Freedom to break the law-not a right.

I'm free not to shop at Cedar Park Shopping Center after being intimidated by large groups of men standing around the place.
I'm free to withdraw all of my funds from the BB&T Bank at the Cedar Park Shopping Center, and move them to another bank that values my security.
I'm free to vote out of office the Vienna TC members - including the Mayor herself - because they refuse to hold Southern Management accountable for the over-crowding and crime in the Vienna Park Apartments.

It doesn't make a difference what the issue is, until Vienna faces the fact that we have two whacked out elderly ladies running the show, clearly in over their head, incompetence from Vienna government will reign supreme. The only reason Maudasaurus escapes scrutiny? The vast majority of Vienna residents have no clue that a Vienna government even exists. People pay their property taxes, often deducted straight with their mortgage payment, pay their water bill every three months and buy their car decal once a year. Why would the average person know that their Mayor, Momma Red Hunter Seeman, spends most of her time either lying or dreaming up ways to hide public documents and in turn keep power? It's deep in Vienna government. And it stinks like !@#$.

The more one stares at the moronic picture of Maud, along with a report of a gang arrest (a serious matter to those who still hinge to the real world), doesn't anyone else's blood boil? Maud thinks Vienna is a playground, her own little amusement park. She is a dangerous 85-year-old fool who wakes up and goes to a Town event posing as a cop! Instead of her rambling bi-monthly missives in her Town newsletter talking of the great 1950s, it would be nice to see her address the 2007 issue of gangs in Vienna.

Cute. I posted the above words on a different day under a different topic. HV knows that I did not author the above post under this current topic. This raises the question, 'What is HV's responsibility to its participants?'. Should it knowingly allow someone here to misrepresent someone else, to mislead its readership, to allow one participant to undermine another's 'character'?
Agreed, it's ironic to pose those questions here, but the keyword is knowingly. And the fact remains, if HV knowingly allows its participants to undermine each other's persona on this blog, then in affect, HV will be allowing the canabalization of its own base, which would ultimately kill this blog community. Thus, HV does have a responsibility to protect its participants if it wants to preserve the health of its blog, or at the very least, the participation of any one person. So, please remove the false post above.
As for the false poster, you are making fun of some of our country's most serious ideals... life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and at the expense of one targeted racial group. You fooled no one trying to attribute such ignorance, bigotry, and racism to me.

Maybe you could have posted a picture of Ayala, too? After all, he was mentioned in the article you copied...
I mean, then, someone reading here might actually realize they've seen him and report him to the police...
Or maybe it's just easier to complain and sensationalize.

We don't have a picture of Ayala, if you do, send it along and we will post it.
Posting a report about [gang] is sensational? Interesting. It was in the Vienna Times too. They were sensational as well?

Why don't we use the "Town Green" for day laborers? Are we not proud to have this problem? Since it's been ignored for so long we must.Remembe, "You can't change what you don't acknowledge".

It seems that those who do not agree with this site are now trying to sabotage it, by posting "fake" posts. Thank you Town Green for pointing it out because I for one always enjoy your posts, and gain insight from them. I was taken back when I saw that post "by you", and am glad the matter has been rectified. N.E. quit bickering "easier to complain and sensationalize." Grow up.

YouTube should ban this crap immediately.
