Traffic Up, Freeman Store Open, Town Green Empty

The traffic in Vienna is clearly some of the worst in Northern Virginia. To make things worse our Town Council members have conspired with the State to produce two of the most inefficient and incompetent road projects ever - Beulah Road and Branch Avenue. But guess what? The Freeman store is open and empty as is the Town Green. Maud's priorities are not the priorities of the average citizen. Does anyone have the guts to call her out except this site?

Doesn't look that way. Perhaps we should design a scary "Maudosaurus" Halloween costume for the Town Halloween parade.

Seems to me that the town horse is now the town cow. How now brown cow? How now?
I love the way the people who run this town act in public when you bump into them...And you ask them why they suck...they get pissed and order you to leave the freeman house becuase you are not free...keep on the sunny side of life...HOW NOW BROWN MOTHA FLUKING COOW???

I want to state that the leaders of this town will lie straight to your face and stand by their lies thinking that you will believe them as if you were a simpleton. It's people like this that do not belong in our government.

We need to vote the whole lot of them out. Whether you like them or not, whether you agree with their politics or not, or whether you think they are good or bad for Vienna or not, all reasons are irrelevant when they outright lie to you, and continue to lie when you have proof that they are untrustworthy.

Vienna deserves better.

I AGREE WITH "Citizen" PARTICULARLY IN THE LAST 10 OR MORE YEARS. PRIOR TO THAT AT LEAST THERE WERE A FEW TC MEMBERS WHO HAD THE GUTS TO SPEAK THE TRUTH WHETHER IT WAS POPULAR OR NOT. SOME OF THEM ALSO HAD THE GUTS TO DISAGREE WITH MAUDE AND/OR HER LATE HUSBAND AND TO SPEAK OUT IN OPPOSITION. PRESENTLY, IT SEEMS THAT ALL OF THEM ARE AFRAID OF NOT BEING REELECTED IF THEY CROSS MAUD ON ISSUES SUCH AS THE TOWN GREEN, THE VISION COMMITTEE REPORT, TOWN ELECTION FRAUD, FAVORITISM IN APPROVING SITE PLANS FOR BUILDING "TOWN" HOMES IN EXCESS OF THE 35' HEIGHT ORDINANCES AND ON PIPE STEM LOTS, ETC,, ETC.

What I dont understand is how these old bats stay in office! I dont know enough about the history of Vienna politics, so please dont rag on me lol.

Also, I dont understand why overseeing this relatively small town is so friggin difficult.
I mean, I can assume that watching over any sort of town is hard, but how did it get so out of hand?

And what exactly are they doing on Branch Ave? All I know is that they screwed it up and its a pain in my behind to drive anywhere in Vienna now. No more shortcuts, more gas wasting, and more things for me to complain about lol.

Havent these old bats gotten the hint? They suck at this! I dont care how long they've been around...its obvious that they are stuck in pre-historic times...((and that includes pre"historic" Vienna times...))
