Maud Protects Us from Robots
These two surveys for senior citizens were recently posted in the Vienna Town newsletter:
Ever see the commercial parody from Saturday Night Live about robots attacking old people? Vienna seems to base public policy on similar fears:
Is Vienna really headed toward Seinfeld's Del Boca Vista?

Comments
Where is the survey for teenagers? 20 year olds? Young families? Renters? Business owners? Do not other Vienna peoples have specific concerns for their safety and well being? Mothers raising small children are especially susceptible to isolation and depression but I guess the Town only cares if you are 65 and older experiencing such problems.
I hope everyone understands what is going on here. This survey represents the official start of the 2008 Town of Vienna campaign season. Just as Iowa caucuses are coming earlier than ever this year, as is the the Town's open solicitation for elderly voters.
Wake up, Town residents. Maud has nothing but contempt for you UNLESS you are over 65 and vote. Period.

One must really wonder why when their have been major world wide spies:
Hannson

and
members of the Walker Spy ring
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,961379,00.html
and some members of the al qaeda members was also found in Vienna:
Waleed M. Alshehri: One of the 9/11 suicide hijackers, Waleed M. Alshehri, had lived in a large rental house in Vienna, Virginia. His and his friends' comings and goings (loud parties, pistol shooting, fancy cars with out-of-state license plates, people "always walking around out front with cellphones," a van permanently parked outside the home with a Middle-Eastern man in it monitoring a scanner or radio) aroused suspicions. The neighbor across the street, John E. Albritton, called federal authorities and another neighbor says residents complained to the FBI.

why in hell does Maud want to get old people like herself interested in fighting crime?
Is she capable of making sound decisions, does anyone remember her picture with security written on it?
Okay Barney Fife, what's next?
Why is Maud trying to say that our Vienna Police is incapable or incompetent in handling Vienna crime? Is this really true?
Maybe we should invite the FBI or Fairfax Police to do their work...
