Hey Maudasaurus What is Your Plan for This?
A new city is envisioned for Tysons and what is Vienna planning to do in response? Complain, whine and ultimately do nothing? Why are we expecting an 85 year old Maudasaurus with absolutely no experience in these matters to lead Vienna? If Maple Avenue is gridlock now, what happens in 5 years when Maud hits 90? Maud what is your solution? Connecticut Avenue's reversible lanes in DC sure offers ideas for solutions. Maud's strategy of not easing traffic in Vienna, hoping people would use different routes, has failed. Maybe Howard Springsteen Vienna's Weenie of the Year, the guy who sits on the Transportation Safety Commission, has some ideas?

Fannie Travis was part of the group that served the machine over the years. She was a member of Maud's Commercial Architectual Review Board. She was loyal.

Different routes isnt really an option since some neighborhoods have their damn restricted times.

There is a meeting for adjacent neighborhoods to Tysons tonight (Thurday March 6th) at McLean Community Center at 7:30 pm to discuss these issues for anyone interested. Go to www.fairgrowth.org or www.mcleancitizens.org for more information. Both these groups are now members of the Greater Tysons Citizen's Coalition (GTCC).

Some neighborhoods get help for excessive speed/traffic, and some do not.
