That look on Maud's face is how she runs Vienna government: "I got no ****ing clue...is it time for apple sauce?"

That has to be the all-time loser face, can you believe she has an ounce of gray cells in that cranium? She looks like a she's trying to think, but nothing happening?
That deer in the headlights stare. Maybe SHE wants to hit the photographer who took that photo... don't you think...
And, then her with THAT guy! Whatshisname? the fat man you strikes down photographers, and this deserves an award?
What a LOL joke...

I think that someone needs to audit the Historic Groups books and see if there is any monetary gain to Laine Hyde and Basnight... I still smell a rat.

Can you slip the IRS a note or anything?
It would probably be a huge scandal once people find out how much $$$ they are wastinggg

These are both great ideas and I too believe that someone would find something. The problem is that the mayor and tc have set it up so the fox is guarding the hen house. Sometimes that comes back to bite politicians, but in this case we have no one to investigate anything. Brian Trumpeter? Try going up the political chain and every one of them is in protect mode. So nothing gets done, and anyone that contributes to this website or questions "authority" is vilified. And they will continue to get away with it.
Just look at this charade of the walk on that hill. Tax dollars for their garden party.

So it seems like the only way to really get in on this mess is to infiltrate.
There are ways to do it without being like "HI IM FROM HISTORICVIENNA.COM!"
Have a young adult go in there and say they want to do an interview with the mayor. It sounds lame, and I doubt they would follow through, but it never hurts to try. During said interview, ask about town finances (how do our taxes go to work, etc). Dance around the bush enough to get information.
Now, the only downfall is that Im pretty sure there are readers/lurkers on here who have ties to the TC. (Jane's son?)
Any ideas?

Minerva it is truly scary if you think about it. The job of the media is to expose corruption. Unfortunately no one wants to help.
