Non-Partisan Is A Problem

The voters who have in the past have voted for these fools will continue to vote for them simply because of nepotism and back room deals, and all that smacks of corruption. Just listen to the voters comments as they leave the polls, and hear what they say when they greet Jane Seeman or Maud Robinson on their way out, "I want to thank you so much for allowing me to get my variance, ... [or whatever else they were promised]..."

Think this doesn't happen, you're a fool. This is exactly why the town council DOES NOT want to have their meetings televised. They do not want to be accountable and they do not want to be seen as the real people they are: corrupt, foolish, and incapable of any level of honesty and integrity.

Don't think this is so? Ask Jane Seeman why the meetings are not televised, and she'll say they cannot afford it. This is a lie, and they know it, but it's a lie the Vienna Establishment has been getting away with for many years. Cox cable has been paying Vienna over $200,000/ year for the broadcasting of the town meetings for years, and it appears that Verizon is also supplying funds.

So, Vienna, stay in the dark and let these fools run their garden club. But, it won't last forever.

Maud, you must be proud, I suspect you like your power, and perhaps you even think you ARE smarter than everyone else, but sooner or later, people will learn the truth about you, and you will wish you had acted otherwise. Your legacy will not be what you desire and hoped for.

Sad. But, you asked for it. Do you really think that Voter Apathy in Vienna makes you powerful? No, it's your actions, not the lack of votes that make you this way, and someone will eventually learn the truth.

If we had real investigative reporters, politics would be different in Vienna: we would have televised meetings, we would have lower water costs, lower property taxes, better roads, more sidewalks, less corruption, less gridlock on 123, fewer gas stations, better stores, and more honesty and integrity in our government. And with this, our politicians would not have to hide their beliefs and leave their morality in the dumpster, and we could act on principle and not on nepotism and back room dealings.

Maud Robinson and Jane Seeman are addicted to power, and slaves to the adrenaline high they get from pulling strings and scratching backs, and care little about whether you are republican or democrat. Their so-called bi-partisan politics is just another way of saying power, greed, and corruption, their way of doing business.
