Laurie Cole: Morally Bankrupt & Dishonest to the Core

You want to talk about your dog and pony show? Thank goodness there is a video to follow. After several hours of passionate presenters Laurie and George both "presented" their written diatribe, voting against the property owners. How impartial is it to have a prepared speech? Should we not expect our government to actually listen to their citizens before rushing to judgement? This was horribly transparent but a good look into the soul of the people who run our lives.

Anderson and Sienicki should resign, but I know they won't. Did you hear all the out in out lies that she brought before the council? Is this fare? Is this moral?

Since when does she get to re-write and literally make up a whole new set of statements and voice these as concerns that were supposed to be the words that were brought up at her meeting? How can she get away with this? How low can someone get? Does she think that just because she can get away with this behavior that she is right? Does she not see the harm and abuses she is causing to people and friends she has to live with and see everyday? My GOD, the horror!

Can someone close to her tell her that she has crossed into the DARK SIDE? I don't mean the FAR SIDE, it goes way beyond the absurd, what she did last Monday is WRONG!

WRONG!

She has no courage, no backbone, and puulllleeeeeaasse, don't ever let her wear that butt ugly skirt again in public or in front of a full assembly at Town Hall, what a site, made my eyes hurt.

Some say that the Vote last Monday was a surprise. Some say it was preordained. When you have someone like Cole reading from a script even before the decision was supposed to be discussed and analyzed, you have to wonder why Cole thinks she can sit there and pretend to know what she is talking about.

She obviously has missed the mark by so far, she is now considered unreliable, some my call it lying. But I submit, she is a person who has learned how to push her weight around (and I don't mean literally) and uses this with the guise that she really knows best. The danger in this ability of hers, is that people are getting hurt. People's rights are being abused. She may as well call herself a fascist pig, for all the fairness in her argument: NONE... Does she think this in any way makes her abusive vote seem even remotely fair to the law abiding homeowners whose lives she is trying to abuse and destroy?

Then I am reminded of one of the quotes that pops up on the right of this website:

If I were a council person or the mayor, I would have to think long and hard before I would ever treat one of my neighbors in such a vile manner. How can they sleep at night? Do they really enjoy their sadistic behavior? Maybe the best and kindest thing we can do for Cole is to refer her to a good Psychiatrist.

YES, THE DECISION TO REVERSE THE PHONY WH ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE WAS A SURPRISE NOTWITHSTANDING THAT IT WAS THE PROPER THING TO DO. THE DISSENTERS PRESUMED THAT THE STRUCTURE IN QUESTION WAS AUTHENTICALLY HISTORIC AND THEY CLEARLY DIDN'T CARE HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST THE OWNERS TO REPAIR/RECONSTRUCT "OUR" HISTORIC STRUCTURE. THEIR CLEAR AND ARROGANT REASONING WAS "IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR DECISION, SELL THE PROPERTY AND MOVE AWAY."
WHAT MAKES THE DISSENTERS' PREVIOUSLY PREPARED STATEMENTS PARTICULARLY DISHONEST IS THAT THEY KNOW THAT THE ALLEGED WH HISTORIC DISTRICT INCLUDING ALL THE HOMES THEREIN HAVE NEVER BEEN AUTHENTICATED IN THE MANNER CLEARLY REQUIRED BY THE TOWN'S OWN ORDINANCES. MOREOVER, THESE PEOPLE WERE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT VOTED TO DEMOLISH THE AUTHENTICALLY HISTORIC (NATIONAL AND VA HISTORIC REGISTERS) MOOREFIELD HOME (OWNED BY THE TOWN FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS). I GUESS THESE HYPOCRITES REFUSE TO SPEND TOWN MONEY ON AUTHENTIC HISTORY, BUT DON'T MIND REQUIRING INDIVIDUALS TO SPEND THEIR MONEY TO PRESERVE "OUR" ALLEGED HISTORY.

Sell the property and get out of town. FYI:The town had considered selling the Moorefield house to a private party with the stipulation that he house would be restored and be open to visitors several days a year They got an offer of $750,000 which they refused. For years thereafter there were fits and starts about its renovation but otherwise this slum residence stood in the Towns of Moorefield adjacent to private property.

TIL HAZEL (BUILDER OF TOWNS OF MOOREFIELD) IS STILL LAUGHING HIS BUTT OFF FOR "SELLING" (GIVING) TO MOOREFIELD PROPERTY TO VIENNA FOR RENOVATION AT THE TOWNS EXPENSE, THUS MAKING THE "RENOVATION" THE TOWN'S PROBLEM. THEIR ULTIMATE SOLUTION: TEAR THE SUCKER DOWN! WONDERFUL!
