It's Not Easy Being Green.
Luckily, with Maud by our side, Vienna does not have to worry about that.
Please take a look at the Green Government Challenge that Maud absolutely does not want to be involved:

# 16: Adopt land-use plans that allow higher-density development either near public transit nodes or in areas with existing infrastructure AND encourage mixed-use communities.
Well, there you go. Just a silly fad. Actually, it looks like a well thought-out program that localities can use as a model to go green. Not us, though. Our leadership is far too smart to be told what to do.

The Town of Vienna is bassakcward. All transportation planning hinges around high density hubs. You can say Vienna is stupid but you can also blame the County Officials for even considering Vienna's ill-advised ideas about development.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, doesn't the TC still have the final say.
They can present it to the County, they can/can not approve it and then it's still up to TC. So there you have it.
