Will the Town Ever Address this Intersection?

Many of us drive by/through this intersection several times a day and every day there is a near-miss accident to witness.

Lawyers Road at Church Street, NW 09-11695
 November 18 4:37 p.m.

One vehicle was travelling along Lawyers Road approaching Church Street. A second vehicle pulled out from Church Street and attempted to make a left turn on to Lawyers Road. The second vehicle struck the first.

The driver of the second vehicle was charged with Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention.

If you were to make all traffic turn right, the intersection would be so much safer. If you really need to get to Maple Ave from Church Street, you have plenty of opportunities to do so before you get to Lawyers.

This intersection is one to avoid during any busy traffic time. I'll go through it only if I'm turning right from Church onto Lawyers. It's hopeless otherwise and incredibly dangerous.

Just keep in mind that the town council makes traffic decisions, and they have demonstrated repeatedly they are not qualified to make those decisions.
